Abstract
Undoubtedly, some of the virtues and titles of Amir al-Mu'minin, peace be upon him, which are quoted in the books of the Sunnis, are considered to be evidences of his Imamate, some of which indicate his Imamate, and some of them indicate his Imamate through proof of excellence. The hadith (Ali Sayyid al-Arab) is one of the hadiths through which both ways can be argued about the immediate Imamate and caliphate of Amirul Momineen, peace be upon him. The rule of necessitating the opponent in comparative discussions requires the necessity of discussing such virtues according to their foundations. The following article aims to prove the imamate of Amir al-Mu'minin, peace be upon him, from the hadith (Ali Sayyed al-Arab) with an analytical-critical method. For this purpose, this hadith was selected from the book of Neishabori's Al-Mustadrak, quoted by Ayesha, and after validating its document, we concluded the implication of the hadith on the immediate imamate of Amir al-Mu'minin, peace be upon him, in two ways: the clear text and the evidence of excellence. In the validation section, to prove the authenticity of the narration, using the rules of masjil accepted by the scholars of Jarh and modification of Ahl al-Tsunn,
