The present study was conducted to examine the evidence for the infallibility of the Imams from errors and omissions in individual, ordinary, and social matters. In order to achieve the goals of this paper, a descriptive-analytical research method was used using library resources. By examining the three reasons of reason, narration, and consensus of Imami scholars, the results show that the infallibility of the Imam in individual and social matters is one of the serious and important branches of the discussion of infallibility. The absolute infallibility of the Imam is considered one of his essential characteristics because the Imam is responsible for This lack of confidence will lead to a lack of absolute obedience and following, and as a result, the wisdom and purpose of the Imam's existence will be violated. Therefore, the possibility of errors and omissions on the part of the Imam in any area is not possible because the existential and rational essence of the Imam, considering the special care and attention of God, as well as the special characteristics of the individual's creation, upbringing, and education, eliminates this possibility. , can always understand events and happenings in a true and appropriate way, so that he never makes mistakes or forgets. As can be seen from the verses of the Quran and other evidence, Satan, as the main and fundamental factor affecting human forgetfulness and negligence, does not have the ability to play a role and influence the Imam's intellect and perception.
