Abstract
The superiority of Amir al-Mu'minin (AS) over other companions of the Prophet of God (PBUH) is a truth that can be proven through an examination of verses and hadiths, and it is not hidden from fair-minded individuals. If there were no other evidence for his leadership, this very superiority would be sufficient to establish his rightful claim to leadership and to invalidate the caliphate of others. However, some frequently cited hadiths in Sunni sources suggest that he regarded the Two Sheikhs as superior to himself. This paper seeks to investigate the authenticity of these hadiths and whether accepting such narrations is possible. Through a fair analysis and descriptive-analytical method, relying on credible sources, this article demonstrates that for various reasons, including contradictions with the prophetic and Ali traditions, the weakness of narrators, and so forth, these narrations lack authenticity and are never reliable
