This paper seeks to explore the semantic range of divine proofs beyond just the prophets and divine leaders; simply having divine messengers and their successors does not fulfill the breadth of the principle "And for every people is a guide." Therefore, there must be individuals other than those mentioned who fall within the semantic domain of "divine proof" and fill the gap referred to as the "period of occultation." If this is not the case, the principle "And for every people is a guide" will never come to fruition. In this context, Abu Talib possesses characteristics that align perfectly with the essence of divine proof. The evidence categorized into two groups—manifest and hidden or conforming and consequential—demonstrates the ultimate purpose of such divine proofs. The findings of this research affirm the status of Abu Talib as a divine proof to fulfill two historical responsibilities: . Preserving the divine proofs and signs before the emergence of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him); Creating the necessary groundwork for the emergence of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).  از قواعد خاصّ دین اسلام، باورمندی به حجت الهی است که بر بنیاد آن، حضور پیامبران و امامان الهی در حیات این­جهانیِ انسان ضرورت می­یابد. نوشتار حاضر کوشیده است دامنۀ معناییِ حجج الهی را فراتر از انبیا و امامان الهی بجوید؛ چراکه صرف وجود فرستادگان الهی و جانشینانشان، تأمین­کنندۀ وسعت قاعدۀ «وَلِکُلِّ قَوْمٍ‏ هَاد»^[1]نیست. پس می­باید افرادی غیر از نام‌بردگان، در حیطۀ معناییِ«حجت الهی» بگنجند و خلائی که از آن با عنوان «دوران فترت» یاد می­شود، پر کنند. جز این باشد، قاعدۀ «وَلِکُلِّ قَوْمٍ‏ هَاد» هرگز به بار نخواهد نشست. در این میان، حضرت ابوطالب برخوردار از ویژگی­هایی است که با حقیقتِ حجت الهی کاملاً مطابقت دارد.ادله­ای که در دو دستۀ جلی و خفی یا مطابقی و التزامی جای می­گیرند، غایت وجودیِ این نوع از حجت­های الهی را اثبات می‌کنند. آنچه از پژوهش حاضر به دست آمده است، اثبات حجت الهی بودنِ حضرت ابوطالب است تا این دو مسئولیت تاریخی را به انجام برساند:1. حفظ حجت­ها و بیّنات الهی پیش از ظهور پیامبرصلی الله علیه وآله؛2. زمینه‌سازی­های لازم برای ظهور پیامبرصلی الله علیه وآله.   [1]. رعد: 7. https://jep.emamat.ir/article_213709_1ee85160bbfb3e24b57bc17af71c9272.pdf
