Faiṣal Noor, a contemporary Wahhabi scholar, in a chapter of his book “al-Imāma wa al-Naṣṣ” renounced the doctrine of Imam’s ‘Iṣma and tried to challenge this idea according to the Shiite accepted principles and the traditions in Shiite books. The manner he narrated and exerted the traditions in his book is full of fallacy and distortion, and needs to be analyzed critically. This paper tries to review the most important manner of Faiṣal Noor confronting the Shiite traditions and to criticize samples of his arguments. This study aims to show his fallacies that he used method against the method of accurate criticism.
